I am an independent, out-of-network provider, so I accept payment directly from my patients and clients.
Cost and Insurance
Sessions are 45 minutes long and cost $175.
I do not participate with insurance companies. In insurance terms, I am an “out-of-network provider.” This means if you have an HMO, your sessions with me would not be covered, because HMOs only cover services by providers in their network. If you have a PPO, you may be reimbursed by your insurance company for a portion of the cost, subject to your out-of-network deductible. You will usually find that information under the category of “outpatient mental health” for out-of-network providers in the breakdown of your insurance plan.
For record-keeping simplicity, I collect payment at the time of each session. Upon your request, at the end of each month I will provide you with a paid invoice. It contains all of the information your insurance company will require to reimburse you. Any reimbursement money will be sent directly to you.
